Anamaria is a Romanian actress. She received an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress for the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her father is a theatre teacher at one of the country's top acting schools. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days" (4 Months Three Weeks and 2 Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also earned two other awards, the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca is a regular on the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. Then she played Irma's German aunt in Fury that was released in the year 2014.
